I was extremely proud to present the Glory 9 Kickboxing event on Saturday June 22nd @ the Hammerstein Ballroom In New York City. Glory 9 is the premier kickboxing league in the world. It was shown to be the greatest kickboxing event to ever hit the state of New York. Kickboxing exemplifies the most competitive stand up fighting sport around, and I’m sure our fans are glad to see the sport back in full force.
This extraordinary event consisted of an 8 man tournament in which the first place winner received a check for $200,000 and the runner up received a check for $50,000. The elaborate purses were there to acknowledge the talent these fighters have and the great sacrifices they make during their training and preparation.
Subsequent to surviving 3 glory elimination bouts in 1 night, the 1st place winner was none other than the hard hitting international superstar Tyrone Spong.
After promoting a successful sellout crowd, I’m looking forward to presenting my next Glory show in New York later this year.
