Lou Neglia's Ring of Combat is one of the biggest MMA promotions outside of the UFC.  An amazing 39 of Lou's fighters have gone on to fight in the UFC, including champions Frankie Edgar and Matt Serra.  Last night, number 40, Ricardo Romero, made his UFC debut and beat a very tough and game Seth Petruzelli. Seth, the former TUF contestant and the man who knocked out Kimbo Slice in just 14 seconds, took the fight to Romero early, but Ricardo weathered the storm and went on to stop Petruzelli with an armbar in the second round. Ricardo was not happy with his performace, saying after the fight that he has a lot of things to work on, but there are no easy fights in the UFC, and his experience fighting at the ROC will stand him in good stead in the Octagon. Romero is training at AMA Fight Club now, home of the Miller Brothers, and he'll have plenty of good training partners to work with as he moves up the UFC ladder. Congrats to Ricardo Romero on his sucessful UFC debut!
